Astra runs a fleet of about 75 buses out of our Yonkers depot, serving Westchester County school districts. Under new ownership since November 2025, we're investing in the team that delivers this service — drivers, monitors, and mechanics.

What we look for

• Drivers — NYS CDL Class C or higher with passenger endorsement, valid 19-A certification, clean driving record, and patience with students. We'll help with 19-A renewal training.
• Monitors — Patience with students, especially special-needs students. Reliable schedule. Comfortable on a two-way radio.
• Mechanics — Diesel and school bus experience. Day shift.
